The Pairs I hate to see in Screen-
Sivaji-K.R.Vijaya- Somehow no one can have any sort of Chemistry with her(Selvam -the only exception)
Sivaji-Sowkar- Again lack lustre(Padikkadha medhai,Pudhia Paravai,Uyarntha Maithan being exception)

NOV, I still feel K.R.V shouldn't have acted with Sivaji. He deserved better heroines : I agree with most of Gopal sir's list

I request all of you not to be over-enthusiastic to market the sub-mediocre Films of his(He did plenty in later part of his career)and unimaginative good performances,you are acting like his Friendly Enemies(Anukoola Chatru)

தங்களுடைய கருத்துக்களுக்கு என்னுடைய கண்டனங்களை கடுமையான முறையில் தெரிவிக்க விரும்புகிறேன். இத்திரியில் இதைப் போன்று எழுதி நானும் சிவாஜி ரசிகர் தான் என்று கூறி சிலர் முன்னர் எழுதி அவரை விமர்சிப்பதற்கு இந்தப் படங்களை கேடயமாக பயன் படுத்தி வந்துள்ளனர். அவர்களுக்கு சரியான பதிலடியை முன்னர் அளித்துள்ளனர் நம்முடைய நண்பர்கள். அவர்களுடைய பட்டியலில் தாங்களும் இணைந்து விட்டீர்களோ என்கிற ஐயத்தை தங்களுடைய கருத்து தோற்றுவிக்கிறது.

கிட்டத் தட்ட பாதிக்கு மேல் அவர் படங்களை நாம் ஒதுக்கி விட வேண்டும் என்பது போல் எழுதியுள்ளீர்கள்.

எங்களையெல்லாம் அனுகூல சத்ருக்கள் என்று எழுதியிருக்கிறீர்கள். தோல்விப்படங்களிலும் அவருடைய சிறந்த நடிப்பை வெளிப்படுத்தியுள்ளார், அவற்றை அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு எடுத்துச் சொல்லி அந்த நடிப்பில் என்னென்ன இலக்கணங்கள் உள்ளன என்பதையெல்லாம் ஆராய்ந்து சொல்வது எப்படி அனுகூல சத்ரு என்ற கணக்கில் சேரும். அப்படியென்றால் அவருடைய நடிப்பில் உள்ளதெல்லாம் உதவாதவை என்று பொருளா. அவருடன் புதிய தலைமுறையைச் சேர்ந்த இயக்குநர்கள் பலர் உழைத்திருக்கிறார்கள், அவர்களெல்லாம் புதிய பரிணாமத்தில் அவருடைய நடிப்பைக் கண்டு அதனை பயன் படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்கள். அவற்றை எல்லாம் புறக்கணிக்க வேண்டுமா. தங்கள் ஒருவருக்கு பிடித்த படங்களை மட்டும் தான் இத்திரியில் விவாதிக்க வேண்டுமா. தாங்கள் என்ன சொல்ல வருகிறீர்கள். அவரைப் பற்றி விமர்சிப்பவர்களுக்குத் தாங்களே பாதை அமைத்துக் கொடுப்பது போல் தோன்றுகிறதே. புரியவில்லை. நடிகர் திலகம் என்கிற அட்சய பாத்திரத்தில் அவரவருக்கு வேண்டிய வகையில் கிடைக்கும் போது ஒவ்வொருவரும் தமக்குப் பிடித்து தாம் ரசித்த விஷயங்களைத் தான் இங்கே பதிந்து கொள்கிறோம். எல்லாமே எல்லாருக்கும் பிடித்திருக்கும் எனக் கூற முடியாது. அதே சமயம் பிடித்தவர்கள் தங்கள் கருத்துக்களைக் கூறலாமே. உதாரணத்திற்கு துணை படத்தில் காக்கா வலிப்புக் காட்சியில் அவருடைய சமயோசித புத்தியைக் கடைப்பிடித்ததைப் பற்றி இயக்குநர் துரை அவர்களும் வியட்நாம் வீடு சுந்தரம் அவர்களும் கூறியுள்ளனர். அது போன்று பல சம்பவங்கள் நடிக்க விரும்பி வரும் இளைஞர்களுக்கு பயனுள்ளதாய் இருக்கும். இதைப் போன்று ஒவ்வொரு படத்திலும் அவர் நடிப்பில் ஏதாவது ஒரு சிறப்பினைப் புகுத்தியிருப்பார்.

1974 வரைக்கும் தான் நான் சிவாஜியை ரசிப்பேன் என்று கூறுபவரை நாம் எப்படி சிவாஜி ரசிகன் என்று ஏற்றுக் கொள்வது.

எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை. நம் நண்பர்கள் தான் விளக்க வேண்டும்.

Dear Mr.Raghavendar,
If this is the pre-condition to be addressed as his fan,I am not a fan and leave me out of this thread.This is the first time in my life,I am being doubted for my devotion to our Acting god.First Read my full message carefully and if it makes sense ,then we will go further.We are not like other fans who supports blindly,and I think only our Acting God is bestowed with intelleuctual&thinking Fans.The question is to present the best to the future generation as they cant devote their full time to the past . They are busy with so many things with gruelling routines ,you cant expect them to view everything to choose &It is our duty to give them the best out of what we have.If we can concur,I write further.I leave it to the other hubbers to decide it.

Gopal sir,

Every one has their own view and for me I become NT veriyan after watching Lorry Driver Rajakannu, Sangili, Santhippu, Sumangali. So in my view NT is "Atchaya Pathiram" and you can get any kind of food to satisfy your taste whether his first or middle or after 1980's movies.

For me I am attracted more towards his movies done after 1980's just because of NT has given more than enough and justified his role and also made fans like me happy. Even yesterday watching LDR and Anjal Petti 520, I felt each and every scene in AP520 and LDR totally different and his body language and facial expression is quite brilliant. The beauty of NT movies reagardless of any years are each time you watch and you could see different different facial expression and body language and some thing new. I don't think you can find any other actor have this kind of caliber and talent. So my humble request all NT movies are like diamond and day by day and year by year will glow and get value and respected by others, so let us full stop this topic and let us praise our NT.

After talking with you over the phone I can tell every one that you are die hard fan of NT and every day watch his movies , so there is no question about your affection to our NT.

Dear Mr.Satish,
Yes.I decided to keep quite on these matters further.Everyone failed to notice whichever movies mentioned by Vasu Sir after 1981 figured in my shortlist.No actor in the world can claim that all his movies are good and watcheable.If you go thru NT comment on his own Films ,he was honest and ruthless.(He went to the extent of saying Why did they make this Film?For his 50th movie Sarangadhara , Even I didn't remember it for Nan Vanangum deivam Etc).Let me suggest this humbly.Let us take the shortlisted movies for detailed analysis.In other Films ,if there are some exceptional performance by NT,Let us analyse only the scenes in specific analysis case by case.I am doing this for projecting the best of our God to the world.No one is understanding my concern.

I continue with my wishlist(Hope I wont get comdemned for it)
I wish Our NT acted in these Films .
1)Malaikallan-PakshiRaja was begging our NT to do this role.As our NT was too busy to accept this offer,he offered this role to his friend who was not busy at that time.Later Pakshiraja switched camps and made Maragatham and Kalyaniyin Kanavan .Malaikallan was a neat film and could have been another jewel in our crown.
2)Nenjil oor Aalayam-A cult film with tailor made doctor role for our NT (ofcourse Patient role for Gemini or Muthuraman is OK) and the role would have attained more gloss with subtle NT performance .
3)Major Chandrakanth-Ofcourse major has lived that role to get his title but NT would have made it more memorable .
4)Nootrukku Nooru-I wish K.B and NT got together in this movie rather than lacklusture Ethiroli.Ofcourse ,Jai was adequate and his non-Expression and non-acting was managed by K.B well.But it was a monumental Film in crisp and intelligent screen play and our NT as Handsome college lecturer(Lakshmi in lead)with the scope to exploit(Ofcourse NT would have made it different from Andavan Kattalai),Hummm... what a miss!
5)Nan Avanillai-What a movie and what a subtle and good performance by Gemini.But NT with his body language and facial dexturity would have made it better ,though little exaggerated but with distinction in roles would have come more striking with his extraordinary performance.KB would have made more money!!
6)Sila Nerangalil Sila Manithargal-Though,heroine oriented,as guilt-ridden, middle aged remorseful gentleman -could have been a great supporting cameo role.
7)Oru Nadigai Nadagam Parkiral-Reporter Role could have been lapped up earlier than Mudhal Kural and we missed a great show (Sivaji-Lakshmi duel -great)
8)Sankarabaranam-A land mark movie appreciated from all quarters with great music.Somayajulu had an advantage of apt debudant's charm in this role.But NT would have given another Thillana like subtle and exemplary performance.
9)Kizhakku seemaiyile-A folk-story on sibling intimacy on Thevar community and whoelse we could think of?Though Vijaykumar was good and adequate,NT's presence would have made it as memorable as Pasa Malar.
10)Sandhya Ragam-Balu Mahendra's masterpiece and a terrible mis-casting.Chockalinga Bagavathar at best can be a hut-dweller and can't be accepted as a middle-class elder(Balu repeated that mistake in casting him as Ramesh Arvind's father in Sathileelavathi)If NT handled this role,it could have taken him to national accolade.Balu as an ardent NT fan could have enjoyed it.

இரவு பகல் பாராமல், குடும்பத்தைக் கூட கவனிக்காமல் எங்கள் தலைவரின் மேல் உள்ள ஈடுபாட்டால் பல்வேறு சிரமங்களுக்கு மத்தியில் திரியில் உள்ள அனைவரும் அவரவர் சக்திக்கு ஏற்ப தலைவரின் புகழை எங்களால் முடிந்த மட்டும் யார் மனமும் புண்படாமல் பதிவுகளாகக் கொடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறோம். அது உங்களுக்கே நன்றாகத் தெரியும். ஆனால் நீங்கள் இப்போது கை வைத்திருப்பது மிக மிக sensitive ஆன விஷயத்தில். நடிகர் திலகத்தின் முதல் ரசிகர் என்று மார் தட்டிக் கொள்ளும் நீங்கள் எந்த வகையில் முதல் ரசிகர்? உங்களுக்கு நாயகனும், காட் பாதரும் அருமையாகத் தெரிந்தால் நீங்கள் மார்லன் பிராண்டோவின் ரசிகர் ஆகி இருக்க வேண்டும். உங்கள் கூற்றுப்படி வேஸ்ட் நடிப்பை தந்த சிவாஜி அவர்களின் ரசிகர் ஆகி இருக்கக் கூடாது. சிவாஜி வெறியன் என்றும் கூறிக் கொள்ளக் கூடாது. கண்ணாடி வீட்டில் இருந்து கல் எரிந்து கொண்டிருக்கிறீர்கள். அது என்ன அனுகூல சத்ரு? திரியில் உள்ள அனைத்து அங்கத்தினர்களையும் அவமானப் படுத்தும் வார்த்தை அல்லவா அது. முதலில் நீங்கள் அனைத்துப் பதிவுகளையும் பொறுமையாக உட்கார்ந்து படித்துப் பாருங்கள். மேல்தட்டு மக்களுக்காக மட்டும் படைக்கப் பட்டவரல்ல நடிகர் திலகம். கோபால் ஒருவரை திருப்தி படுத்த மட்டும் அவர் அவதாரம் எடுக்க வில்லை. நீங்களே பல முறை சொல்லியிருக்கிறீகள் "தர்மராஜா போன்ற மோசமான படங்களில் கூட நடிகர் திலகத்தின் நடிப்பை யாராவது மோசமாக விமர்சித்தால் என்னிடம் அவன் ஒழிந்தான் என்று". அப்படியிருக்க இங்கே அனைவராலும் கோவிலாக மதிக்கப்படும் இந்தத் திரியை சிவாஜி வெறியன் என்று கூறிக் கொள்ளும் தாங்களே எங்களை எப்படி அவமானப் படுத்த முன் வந்தீர்கள்? உங்களுக்கு ஒரு நியாயம். அடுத்தவர்களுக்கு ஒரு நியாயமா? யாரோ வேறொரு ரசிகர் தலைவரை அவமானப் படுத்துவதை கொஞ்சமும் பொறுத்துக் கொள்ள முடியாத தாங்கள், அவருக்காக வாதாடி முதல் சிவாஜி ரசிகர் நான்தான் என்று அவர் பெருமையைக் காப்பற்றுவதாக பறைசாற்றிக் கொள்ளும் தாங்கள் எங்களை அனுகூல சத்ரு என்று அவமானப் படுத்துவதை எங்களால் எப்படி பொறுத்துக் கொள்ள முடியும்?

தயவு செய்து தேன் கூட்டில் கை வைக்காதீர்கள். எங்களுக்கு பராசக்தியும் ஒன்று தான். பூப்பறிக்க வருகிறோமும் ஒன்றுதான். பெற்ற குழந்தைகளிடம் நாங்கள் பேரம் பார்ப்பதில்லை.அதற்காக குறை விமர்சனங்களை ஏற்றுக் கொள்ளாமல் இருந்ததில்லை. நிறை குறைகளை நாங்கள் மனதார வரவேற்கிறோம். அவமானப் படுத்துவதை எங்களால் எப்படி பொறுத்துக் கொள்ள முடியும்? நீங்கள் இந்த வார்த்தை தவறு என உணர்ந்து அந்த வார்த்தையைத் திரும்பப் பெறும் வரையில் நான் இந்தத் திரியில் எனது பதிவுகளை இடப் போவதில்லை. அனுகூல சத்ருவான எனக்கு இனி இந்தத் திரியில் எந்த வேலையும் இல்லை.
