Watched Thiruvilyadal in Vasant TV yesterday. Though the entire movie is a classic, to me the ultimate scene is PAttum nAne . 5 Nadigar Thilagams performing different musical shots and one after another anticipating his turn and doing a reaction is something incredible acting ! Watch the guy who plays the vocal chords when the flute guy is about to complete his part . This vocal guy gets prepared by testing his vocals quickly and even checks his throat condition for a second. This is just one example. While each one doing his part, the other 4 responding in unison and the next guy's spontaneous ( virtually ) reaction to the previous performer's acts! Is there any other shot taken in cinema like this ?
